Gentle Yoga  

Gentle yoga is a style of yoga that is far less strenuous than other forms of Vinyasa Yoga. It is less intense, so it can be very useful for yogis who are not capable of fulfilling the demands of other practices, such as seniors, women who are pregnant, practitioners who are recovering from injury, practitioners who are in very poor physical condition or even those who are simply looking for a more relaxed workout. Gentle yoga also can be beneficial to those yogis who already are quite fit but who lack the overall flexibility to be able to do some of the more intense yoga poses.

Linking breath with motion, this is an advanced class designed to challenge and inspire you. Focusing on breath, movement, and alignment, at a slow, easy pace.



Yoga

Level 1/Beginner Yoga

An introduction to the principles of foundation, alignment and breath. We introduce basic poses that flow together , build strength, increase flexibility and muscle tone, reduce stress, and increase lung capacity. All levels welcome.

Level 1/2 Yoga


This class is open to beginners as well as experienced students who want a moderately paced class. Taught in the vinyasa flow style offering dynamic movement with and between poses that generates internal warmth and helps the body naturally open. The focus is on the fundamentals of basic poses, offering a well rounded class emphasizing safe alignment, breathing techniques, and the gradual development of flexibility, strength and balance.  This class is perfect for students who enjoy more challenge than our beginner classes, ad less challenge than our  mixed level classes.

Mixed level Yoga

This is an alignment based Vinyasa class open to all levels. Breath and movement are synchronized to build heat, stimulate the nervous system and revitalize the body and mind. We offer modifications for beginners and options to challenge more advanced practitioners.

Vinyasa Flow (inspired by Shiva Rea’s style of Prana Flow®) Yoga

Linking breath with motion, this is a mixed Level class designed to challenge and inspire you. We will move beyond the fundamentals of breath, movement, and alignment , taking your yoga practice to the next level. A mixed level class with a flowing aspect.

Level 2/3 Yoga 


Tone and transform your body and mind in this  Empowering  Vinyasa class. This class incorporates traditional strength-building and core-toning movements into a powerful yoga practice intended to challenge and transform your body in a fun and engaging way. This class is suited for all levels of practice, yet a strong desire to work hard is encouraged. Empower yourself and achieve greater strength, alignment, and confidence in your yoga practice. 

 


Yin/Yang Yoga (Level 1/2)

This class provides the benefits of a balanced practice of Yin and Yang styles of yoga. The Yin style of long-held passive poses opens the body to more flexibility and chi flow through the subtle channels while also engendering a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind. A more active, dynamic, Yang style of vinyasa will follow, strengthening and invigorating the body and mind. Each class will conclude with meditation. Suitable for all levels.







Heated Yoga

Our Heated Yoga class uses a heated room to promote a cleansing sweat and increase the body's pliability while moving through practice. The sequencing of this class incorporates core work to build heat within the body, vinyasa flow, long holds and deep stretches. Accessible to all levels willing to break a sweat and explore their edges.

Pre-Natal Yoga 

Offered in a 6-week session format, this class will support moms-to-be throughout their pregnancy using postures to strengthen and tone muscles used for labor and delivery.  Breathing and relaxation techniques are used to establish a deeper connection with the mind, body, and baby.  Along with offering time for discussion, each class will focus on increasing energy and endurance.  The 5th class of every session gives mom a chance to bring one support person along for a partner yoga class.  Upon registering for the session, a permission note from your healthcare provider is required and may be brought to the 1st class.  Appropriate for all stages of pregnancy and no prior yoga experience is necessary.  Props and mats provided.

Post-Natal (Mom&Baby) Yoga 

Offered in a 6-week session format, this class uses postures for moms and babies (6 weeks to 9 months), along with baby massage to stretch, tone, and restore muscle strength.  In addition to deepening the bond with your baby, this class is also a time to relax and "mother yourself" using breathing techniques to rejuvenate the mind and body.  While enjoying the physical and health benefits of your practice, this is a fun way to meet other moms and babies in the community.  Upon registering for the session, a permission note from your healthcare provider is required and may be brought to the 1st class.  No prior yoga experience is necessary.  Props and mats provided.  Moms should bring a pouch type baby carrier to class.

Inversion/Arm balance play class

This class will turn you upside down! You will experience 45 min of prep poses in vinyasa form and then the rest of class would be workshop style focusing on a specific pose with a cool down at the end.  The practice will include the stepping stones to inversions and arms balances, Don’t stress, you can always move at your own flow.










Candlelight Yoga

Experience the meditative focus and intensity of practicing yoga in a studio uniquely illuminated by candlelight. Allow the soothing music and soft glow of the candles to slip away from the stresses and tensions of the week.  A perfect way to end your day.  This is a
mixed Level Class.





Restorative Yoga

Activate your healing state, relieving spaces if stagnation, fear, stress, anxiety and depression found in the central nervous system. ”Let go” safely and allow your body receive transformation through energetic alignment through this healing practice called Anjali Restoration Yoga.
Think about your body as a container and how you feel emotionally is what fills us. When the body is placed in fully resonating positions, energy is freed up to pulse and clear out past limitations and stuck patterns. This actively cultivates balance and grace to experience reflective wisdom, calm clear gentle strength, peace and connection to self esteem; allowing your dynamic healing state to emerge.
As you walk through our lives off the mat, you’ll begin to notice subtle differences; certain situations no longer bring up anger, fear or cause anxiety. The patterns of the past begin to melt and our bodies profoundly reinforce this release with a sense of ease, leaving you deeply nourished.
Join Instructor Sheri Cardelli in this active restful progression of posses supported by bolsters and blankets while the mind and heart are directed at soul-ful guided meditations and thoughtful breathing practices. All levels will enjoy!


Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga is a fun, creative approach to yoga that can be very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.

Kids will improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment.

Our Kids Yoga program also promotes inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; a feeling of well-being and respect for others; and, love for one’s self, inside and out.

A Latin inspired fitness and dance class that is great for the body, the mind, and the soul.A fantastic cardio workout, with steps that are easy to follow, Zumba is for all fitness levels, and no dance experience is necessary

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is bases on the principle that a workout should be FUN AND EASY TO DO allowing Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long term health benefits. Zumba is a FEEL HAPPY workout that is great for the body and mind.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rythns that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba is a combination of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.

Hoop Fit

Want to tone those hips?  How about your abs, glutes, thighs and arms?  Hoop it up with hoop*fit, the coolest dance party in the area.  You will get a full cardiovascular workout while developing core strength and toning your entire body!

Meditation

Meditation is a word signifying THE state of BEING. The state of BEING is the most natural state, having life. It is simply the awareness of the constancy of life-unified in the present moment; The instant all living beings share, and live together. In this, the source, lies freedom...

The practice of meditation is one of willingness. The willingness to perceive innocently; to release the meaning placed on all things, situations, and circumstances; to allow that which all things are a part of to be, without judgement. 

Through meditation we learn how to dance with what shows up in life, residing in the now, not an instant in the past or an instant in the future. We learn to bring illusion to truth..... darkness to light; recognizing that there is not one moment  better than another to be  peaceful, present, clear, and truly loving. Offered 
Wednesday 6-7pm

Sunday Morning Meditation

Class will include intention, meditation, and discussion. Offered the 1st and 3rd Sunday of Each month(occasionally at 5th Sunday)

"HOOP FIT" KIDS 

A kids’ workout with a new spin! Using bright and colorful hoops, HoopFit! Kids classes are packed with high energy hoop games, exercises, and funky hoop moves. Each week your kids will learn new skills to show off to their friends! It’s a total body, hard rocking, hip hopping workout that’s a whirl’d of fun! I’ve got the hoops, your kids can bring the giggles. Ages 6-12
